M 29 – C (myrobolan)
It is a rootstock that shows semi-dwarf development. It has good water retention capacity and grows well in fertile soils. It does not grow in arid soils. It is resistant to root rot in heavy soils. Planting density is 2.5-3 m on the row and 4.5-5 m between the rows. In strongly growing varieties, it is 3-4 m on the row and 5-5.5 m between the rows. It is recommended to graft with Japanese and European plums. Fruit yield starts at the age of 2-3. It is a good rootstock for apricot, plum and almond.
ISTHARA FERCIANA
It is used for peach, apricot and plum varieties. It is medium strong. It increases the amount of fruit by dwarfing the plant in fertile soils and gives good results in early varieties. It is 25% lower compared to GF-677. It is productive. It has a stagnant structure in active calcareous soils. Therefore, it gives good results in strong soils. It is resistant to drought. It increases fruit size and yield.
