Description
It is a variety of Japanese group plums that is quite widespread in cultivation, yields early, gives regular products, has a good fruit set and is productive. The tree grows vertically and strongly. The fruit is round-oval, quite large when thinned, resistant to cracking, sweet, juicy, the outer shell is dark purple-black at full maturity, smooth and shiny. The flesh is hard-textured, yellowish white, the seed is free and quite small. It reaches harvest maturity between August 1-10 in Bursa conditions. At the same time, Santa Rosa and Black Amber varieties can be used as pollinators for the Friar variety, which is a good pollinator for flowering Japanese Group plums.
