Description
Originating in France, it is the variety with the best fruit quality among the early varieties. Trees are semi-upright and show medium strength development. Fruit is large, round, short thick stemmed, fruit rind is bright dark red, fruit flesh is red, hard, juicy, crisp and light aromatic. Its quality and resistance to transportation are very good. It is resistant to cracking and bacterial cancer. It is harvested in the third week of May. Pollinators are Van, Hedelfinger, Bing, Rainier, S H Giant, Noir de Guben, Merton Premier varieties.
