Description
Origin: France. Obtained by hybridization by P. Argot. Tree: Medium strength and productive. Self-infertile. “Lory Bloom” ® is a good pollinator. Fruit: Medium or slightly larger than medium (larger than Burlat), kidney-shaped; dark red; dark red flesh is medium strength, sweet but very slightly tart, medium juicy and semi-adherent to the core. Harvest Time: 3 days before “Burlat”. General Thought: A very early maturing variety, suitable for southern regions. Requires correct pruning to support fruit size. Resistant to Monilia. Most of the fruits ripen at the same time.
