Description

It is a variety of Australian origin, trees are very strong and form a semi-upright crown. It is well compatible with dwarf, semi-dwarf and seedling rootstocks. The fruit is large, shiny dark green, the flesh is white, juicy, and has a very pleasant sour taste. It stores very well and can be kept for 9 months. Especially in Central Anatolia, Thrace and the Lakes region, in order to prevent sunburn on full dwarf rootstocks, shade should be applied with covering materials that reduce light permeability. Harvest time is 25-28 days after Golden Delicious. In early harvested fruits, the peel darkens in storage. Golden Delicious, Fuji, Gala Group, Red Delicious varieties are good pollinators.
