Description

It is the most cultivated variety among the Can group plums, and its trees are wide, densely branched and form a spreading crown. Due to early flowering, it is damaged by late spring frosts in some years. It is generally harvested at the end of April during the green maturity period. If not harvested, it can be harvested at the end of June during the red maturity period. The fruit is 20-25 gr. in weight, round, slightly flattened on the stem side, the belly line is distinct and concave. The outer shell of the fruit is bright green, the flesh is hard, juicy and light green in color. In the red or full maturity period, the flesh tissue of the fruit is partially self-fertile, but having Aynalı variety as a pollinator increases the yield.
